SVOO (that one annoying grammar point)

Here is my powerpoint explanation for Subject + Verb + Object + Object aka p.55 of the textbook. (Show me the leaflet)

I start by reviewing the verbs "show" "tell" "give" "buy" and "lend" and check their understanding by miming the actions with the students.
I used the lyrics to "A whole new world" from Aladdin as a listening exercise and asked them to highlight the verbs we had just been studying.

The time it took to get through the presentation was 30 mins, depending on how long you want to take with the song. My students were pretty unenthusiastic about me getting them to sing it lol.

Then for the remainder of the lesson I used Sean's battleship activity if you want to kill extra time (Solo teachers, I see you, I feel you). Have attached that here too.
