This is ripped from ALTopedia but who knows what is going to happen to that website so might as well back it up here!
(Sorry it took me so long to upload!)

This lesson a is a PPT that has questions about animals using Can you~?. Prompt the students with a question such as: Can you swim? with the animal being snake. Illicit answers from the students then a video with the answer in the following slide.
This activity can be done at the start of the lesson. The main purpose is to get the students engaged and thinking about abilities. You could probably make it a much longer time filler if you wanted with teams and whiteboards. This is how I did it cause I wanted to keep it fun and quick:
1年生
1. Read the question and students repeat.
2. Students confer.
3. I ask the students to raise their hands for their answer and I say 'Yes, I can' and 'No, I can't'.
4. Reveal answer and get them to make a little note each of their points.
5. See who has the most points at the end of the powerpoint and give them stickers.
Special Needs
Same as above but in order for them to give their answer I split the room in half and they would stand up and move to either side depending on their answer. Gave them stickers if they were correct for every round and they loved it.
