While I'm here, I may as well upload my directions lesson too. This is for the Daily Life section of unit 4, page 60 in HERE WE GO 2.

This is basically a comp of a couple of direction lessons I made before and the warm up quiz I stole from somewhere tbh.

The run down is like this.

First, ask the is there questions with the room pictures as a warm up. Just get kids to shout out the answer, it doesn't matter. Just getting a bit of engagement. They always seem to laugh at the Japan girl one and the Kazakhstani guy with no shirt. Maybe get a comment on the French man.

Then I go over some places that are in the map for the activity, you could have the students repeat them after you and ideally get them to understand what it is in Japanese.

Then the instructions of how the activity will proceed. To start with I do a demo, giving them instructions and try to get the correct intended destination from them. Once that is done, I get them in pairs and have them try to direct each other to a destination, using the Pokemon map. Then after that, I get them to change pairs to practise that with some different faces.

Or you can do it however you feel most comfortable.

Now, usually this takes the whole class or near enough. However, I have added my London and Hamamatsu train line direction activities. It's similar but uses some different questions and vocab. It shouldn't be too hard though and should be clear enough with the worksheet provided. As I say though, it's unlikely you'll get to this unless you and your students are ultra speed.

Well there we are, enjoy your journey and don't worry so much about getting to your destination.
