Set up: The JTE can go over the meaning of the new words. Include the words for the vehicles as well. Boat, plane, train, rocket, car, bike/bicycle, bus, and walking. I put a picture of each on the board next to the word as well (except walking and bike). Practice the dialogue on page 110, first as a class, and then in pairs.

Hi team!

My JTE asked me to make a second lesson for `asking the way`using multiple modes of transport (only trains are mentioned in the textbook). I deceided to add busses and planes and use Scott`s amazing race idea!

I wanted to personalise this activity to me so I made a Wellington map (careful, doing this takes time!!) and I also made a Tokyo map (that leads to Hamamatsu) because i wanted them to use a plane too!
